Hope...Part-1

Finally, I am writing. The nagging blogging idea had been haunting me for a week now, so, here I am.

There's that one thing we need to learn from life. It is never the end, its just a new beginning. When every single leaf sheds off an autumn tree, it doesn't perish away in grief.  It just waits for the spring and then starts afresh. When Lord Voldemort makes life a rotten hell for Harry Potter, Harry fights, strikes back everytime, and eventually (the seventh time), destroys Voldemort.(Yea, I am a difficult Harry Potter fan) When Japan gets bombed and destroyed, it doesn't sit back like a helpless victim. It fights back to become a well developed & highly advanced nation. But again, it gets struck by natural catastrophe. Will it give up? Again, no.

Fight. Don't give up.

Hope is that small priceless ray of light in the darkness. But self-belief is the pair of eyes that lets us see that ray. If you hope to do something, or hope that something good should happen to you, it is important that you believe in yourself. Without self-belief, hope is nothing but a figment of baseless imagination, like building castles in the air.
Dream big, think big, and have confidence that you have it in you, that you have the potential. After that, its just a journey  from believing that you can do it  to actually getting it done. Again, that requires the zest and perseverance. To stick to your dreams. To make your own decision and stick to it. To take responsibility for your own mistakes. Learning from my few past experiences,I can say that you have to have a heart to do that; coz blaming others is such a convenient way out. Suffering from your mistakes, just accepting that it was just a wrong decision and not blaming others is one difficult task.

But whatever it is, believe in yourself.
Come what may, just smile through it, and keep looking for that small priceless ray of light. Like the Bollywood maxim goes, picture abhi baaki hai, mere dost, it is never the end.

Here is a really amazing article I came across on someone else's blog that I would like to share: Accepting false limits. - by Seth Godin.

Writing something after so long, I think that after putting in practically half the morning in this post, I have managed to talk some sense. And I hope & I will try to abide by it. :)
